In competition with Swiss industrial giants employing thousands, such as ALSO AG and RoxHealth GmbH, Robonnement has positioned itself among Switzerland's most influential companies, according to a company statement. This "remarkable achievement" underscores its leadership position in the Swiss technology landscape.
The RaaS (Robot-as-a-Service) platform enables companies to access advanced robotics through flexible subscription-based models. This allows them to bypass high acquisition costs, address labor shortages, reduce specialist costs, and improve workplace safety. Additionally, Robonnement's platform allows anyone to own a robot or a share in one and earn income from the robot's work.
An “Audacious Dream”
At the award ceremony in Zurich, Alexander Pätzold shared the story of founder Nimrod Malinas, from his “lowest point” to founding Robonnement and winning the Digital Economy Award. The client of the award winner quoted a question that had driven Nimrod to build the company: "What is your audacious dream?"
Robonnement has grown from modest beginnings to a significant player in the world of robotics. Without capital and with the vision of building a transformative company, he successfully acquired K Lips AG. Robonnement, a spin-off of K Lips AG, is now valued at several million Swiss francs, the statement continues.
“From the very beginning, I dreamed of creating something that could change the world”
says CEO Nimrod Malinas. It wasn’t easy, but he always believed that with the right vision, anything is possible.
Robonnement currently operates more than 80 robots and has a team of over 40 experts. The company also plans to expand globally. It is currently in the midst of an equity round of six million euros, and an asset-based financing round of more than ten million Swiss francs was recently completed, according to the press release.
