According to Nimrod Malinas, there were three reasons that prompted him to found Robonnement: "Every painter deserves a healthy workplace, every company deserves competent professionals and every painter must be able to operate a robot without programming knowledge." The use of easy-to-use robots could be the solution to these three challenges. "We want to show companies that robots do not replace people, but rather reinforce them. And that painting robots are suitable for every paint shop," says Malinas, describing Robonnement's goals. The use of a robot only requires enough space, electricity (7 kW and 400 volts), air (6 bar), an internet connection and a painter who can paint the parts, says the company founder. The use of self-teaching robot systems not only pays for itself very quickly, it also ensures that painting know-how is maintained in companies.
